SUSTAINABILITY
Efficient Computing
Servers use a lot of energy--currently estimated at 2-3% of the US total. PublicStuff is designed to minimize the number of servers required. Our cloud infrastructure achieves more than 20 times regular server efficiency, and reduces the power that we consume accordingly.
Green Energy
The work we do here at PublicStuff is powered by green, renewable energy and we are very proud of this. We have chosen to purchase 100% renewable wind energy from ConEdison. This is an option that all ConEdison customers have the option to select. As a result, all our work at PublicStuff, and all the cities that use our platform, are powered by 100% Green e-certified renewable energy.
We followed the lead of some great companies we admire, and hope other companies will join us!
